Jumbo Wild Coturnix Quail

Also known as Brown or Pharoah Coturnix Quail. This Japanese breed of Quail has been commercially bred for nearly 1000 years for their spectacularly fast growth rate, reaching maturity in just 10 weeks (weight 10-16 ounces), their feed to production ratio and overall health.  Being one of the hardiest and easiest farm livestock to care for on the farm or homestead.  The Jumbo size is the latest improved variation of this breed.  In  just the last 20 years, this larger Jumbo version than the standard Coturnix ( which normally tops out at 8-9 ounces by 10 weeks of age), has gained vast popularity and been meticulously bred to improve an already fantastic delicacy farm poultry.  With Jumbo Creek Quail Farm continuing to strive for superior genetics, health and productivity from this magnificent breed.
